About me
My name is Rüdiger Müller. I am an experienced expert in all aspects of hospital purchasing. I use this knowledge and pass it on with the aim of improving the relationship between hospital purchasing and hospital sales sustainably and to the benefit of both sides.
Sometimes you can turn the price screw, sometimes prices are at a level that can hardly be shaken. There is often great potential in the structures and processes on both the hospital side and the industry side.
my career
As an independent management consultant for hospital purchasing, I have been supporting hospitals, care facilities and care centers in optimizing their processes, product range and costs since 2012. On the other hand, I make my knowledge available to manufacturers and suppliers of hospital products and services. I see myself as a driving force and mediator for successful and sustainable cooperation within clinics and business relationships between clinics and their suppliers, to the benefit of all parties involved.
Rüdiger Müller: Clinical expert with years of experience
I spent a total of ten years on the hospital side in management and purchasing for MEDINOS Kliniken des Landkreises Sonneberg, MEDINOS Service GmbH and regioMed-Kliniken GmbH Sonneberg. I was the strategic head of central purchasing at the holding company and head of purchasing at one of the affiliated clinics, as well as an authorized signatory.
At the same time, I volunteered for the purchasing association Femak e.V. and was its national chairman for eight years.
I qualified for these positions and tasks with a degree in Business Administration (FH) and a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Social Services (Social BBA) as well as an additional qualification in logistics management.

Through my many years as a board member of the professional association femak e.V., I have not only come to know and understand the perspective of numerous hospital purchasers. Femak e.V. also works closely with the industry. In this respect, I am very familiar with both perspectives, their questions and needs. I use this knowledge for successful and long-term cooperation.
